There is a small rubber ring on the cable connector which should be removed to correct the power concern with your camera. The below images will assist with identification and removal of this ring. Special tools are not needed, but a thin bladed screwdriver may help wiggle the ring loose. Removing the ring doesn't void your warranty and shouldn't negatively affect your equipment. This only applies to ReachCam.
