What do I do if my camera is triggering on undesired motion, like traffic on a road?Updated 10 days ago
Your camera may trigger on undesired motion such as insects, birds, and traffic in the background. Camera positioning and settings are important to fine tune your camera's performance. Here are a few things to consider.
Position your camera so the area of interest is centered. Avoid capturing large portions of sky, moving foliage (such as weeds and leaves), and undesired area with high traffic (such as highways).
Camera sensitivity can reduce or eliminate the number of undesired captures caused by insects, birds, and moving leaves. While your camera is set to Medium by default, you may set it to Low by clicking on the three black dots beside your camera name and click on Camera Settings.
Click on "How is the camera triggered?" Change Sensitivity to Low and click "Update" at the bottom of the screen.
